The deadline to send proposals is 28 January.
The selected proposals will be included in the PJP Open Floor session. It will be possible to present both in-person and online.

PRE-CONFERENCE SESSIONS (Pop, Jazz, and World/Traditional/Folk)

Pre-conferences at PJP are a meeting place for everyone who shares specific interests, as well as an opportunity to connect with colleagues across genres. This year´s format will be open discussions led by participants, supported by PJP WG members.
All AEC members are invited to contribute with proposals for discussion centered around this year´s PJP theme, regardless of the genre-specific pre-conference they are planning to attend: "ROADS LESS TRAVELLED: Directions, Connections, Deviations". What does this theme mean to you from a pop/jazz/world folk traditional music point of view?
The objective is to encourage three parallel discussions that address the members’ genre-specific interests, needs and points of view. Simultaneously, by focusing the discussions on the same theme, it would be equally desired to find connections and valuable ideas that are applicable across genres and fields. These findings will be shared by a representative of each session in a short general wrap-up right after the genre-specific discussions.
